Host a smoother remote game
Open the room early
Give guests five minutes to join, find the bingo link and arrange their windows. Use that time to test one practice call. Do not begin the actual game until everyone can see both Zoom and a card.
Set a calling rhythm
For a relaxed social game, six to eight seconds between calls is usually easier than rapid play. Pause after every ten calls to repeat the newest few. Keep the number on screen as well as speaking it for guests with audio issues.
Define the Bingo claim
Tell players to unmute and say Bingo, type it in chat, or do both. The caller should stop immediately. If the claim is not valid, resume from the same history rather than starting over.
Plan for a disconnect
Put the player link in chat and the invitation so anyone can find it again. A co-host can help a reconnecting guest while the caller continues for everyone else. For important events, export printable cards as a backup.
