Create bingo cardsHow to call a 90-ball game
90-ball bingo is the British game, and the same numbers are used for tambola and housie in India and across the Commonwealth. Each ticket has three rows and nine columns, with five numbers on every row and fifteen on the ticket. The first column holds 1 to 9, the second 10 to 19, and so on up to 80 to 90 in the last.
Three prizes in one game
A game is played for three prizes in order. First comes one line, any full row on a ticket. Then two lines on the same ticket. Last is the full house, all fifteen numbers. The prize panel shows which one is in play. When a claim checks out, tap the claim button and the caller moves on and announces the next prize, so nobody loses track.
Traditional call names
Part of the fun of a British hall is the patter. With call names turned on, every number comes with its classic nickname, from “Kelly’s eye, 1” and “Two little ducks, 22” to “Top of the shop, 90”. The full list of ninety calls and their stories is in our bingo calls guide. Turn names off for a quicker, plainer game or for groups who prefer numbers only.
Running the game
Tap Call next for each number, or use auto-call and the speed slider. Voice reads the calls aloud once you have tapped the page, which is what iPhone needs. The 9 by 10 board marks every number called and highlights the latest one, and the recent-calls list helps you check a ticket quickly. Undo puts back a mistaken call, and Reset game starts again from one line. You can make matching tickets in the card generator.
Questions
Is this 1-90 bingo caller free?
Yes. It is free, has no ads and needs no signup. It runs in any modern phone or computer browser.
Does it say the traditional bingo calls?
Yes. With Call names switched on, each number comes with its traditional UK nickname, such as Two little ducks for 22 or Legs eleven for 11. Switch it off for plain numbers.
Can I use it for tambola or housie?
Yes. Tambola and housie use the same 1 to 90 numbers. Turn the call names off if your group prefers plain numbers.
How do the line, two lines and full house prompts work?
The caller shows which prize is in play. When a win is checked, tap the claim button and it moves on to the next prize and announces it.
Why is there no sound on iPhone?
Safari plays speech only after a tap on the page. Tap Call next or Start auto-call once, and make sure the ring switch is not on silent.
